Applying multiple invoices against one Purchase Order

I know this question was asked a few years ago, I am just checking to see if there has been any recent updates/changes to this functionality.

The agreements we have with several of our suppliers outline a total contractual amount, which we often don't settle in one lump sum, but rather, we are billed for progress payments or fixed periodic charges. Is it possible in MYOB, to raise a bulk Purchase Order for the total contractual amount and apply each of the individual invoices against this single PO? This is mainly to avoid overpaying suppliers as the invoices will be drilling down on the set agreed upon amount.

There haven't been any changes to this feature. The system still doesn't let you directly apply multiple invoices to a single purchase order. Each purchase order can only be turned into one bill or invoice. So, you'll need to handle each invoice one by one.

To handle this, you can create separate bills for each invoice you receive and reference the original Purchase Order number in each bill. Alternatively, you can use the recurring transaction feature, or you might find some useful add-ons in our MYOB app marketplace that could assist you with this process.
