Sales Analysis by Employee

AccountRight 2025.1 - online

Why does the sales analysis by date/employee show the total month value when specific dates are entered.  This is totally confusing as doesn't relate to the Sales detail by employee for the same specific dates.  This was never an issue in V19.16

    Hi GEB,

AccountRight is designed to display total sales figures based on recorded invoices and transactions. However, if you're seeing the total monthly value instead of figures for the specific date range entered, a few factors might be at play:

Report Filtering and Date Selection - Ensuring that both the From and To dates are correctly set in the report filters. Sometimes, the report may default to a broader range.

Transaction Status - Check whether all invoices and sales transactions for the selected date range are recorded as expected. Unposted (saved as quotes or orders) transactions may not appear in all reports.

Report customisation - If any customisation (such as grouping, summarising, or filtering by employee) has been applied, it may affect how the data is presented.

If you need further assistance with this, it's best to reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant MOCA or submit a case via MyAccount.

    Regards,

    Sai

Hi Sai - as a professional partner and experienced user since before the turn of the century I full understand how to set parameters when running reports, hence my surprise and concern.  As I mentioned this wasn't an issue ion V19.16 and an important cross-checking tool when running weekly sales reports by employee.  May I respectfully suggest you try running the same reports yourself, before assuming I'm doing something wrong
