Deleting an assignment

How do we delete a client assignment in AE   The message we get is we cannot do this as there is unbilled WIP. We deleted all WIP and still cannot delete the assignment.   We are trying to delete...

    Hi Anna9 

     

    It is not possible to delete the client and/or assignment in this instance.  We recommend closing the client instead.

     

    Accountants Enterprises is a historical wip system, therefore it is not possible to delete any assignments or clients that have ever had wip posted to them.  The historical system alllows you to run wip reports for prior years and and compare information.
