Hi Ross,
I have tried the excel add-in previously, but found that not all of the fields and views that I wanted were available. It may have improved since then, I'm not sure.
I am starting to look into Power BI and have just downloaded a free trial for Odatalink's MYOB to Power BI connector. Early days but at first try it worked well, you use the odata url as a data source and can refresh on demand. I have only tried it with Sales Orders so far. There are some settings relating to the caching and page size, if you have a large data file and performance is an issue. I can see they also have templates available, eg this one for a trial balance which looks similar to what you are looking for. https://odatalink.com/templates/trial-balance-power-bi-reports-for-myob/
I'm not sure how familiar you are with Power BI and Power Query but I'm currently doing an introductory course on Linkedin learning and I'm getting quite excited about what I will be able to do with it, especially if this MYOB connector works reliably. :)
All the best, Louisa
