I'm a sole trader with an Amex card for expenses. Could you please set up Solo bank feed to connect with American Express so I don't have to manually enter the transactions please? It was possible to get the bank feed with Business Lite, but it's not yet a function for Solo

You’re spot on, Amex isn't available for Connected Accounts, and there’s a reason for that. Amex currently only supports sharing data through a technology called Bank Feeds, and not Open Banking.
Open Banking is the protocol and technology that Solo uses, which means unfortunately, as much as we'd love to, Connected Accounts won't work with an Amex card.
For now, your best workaround is to manually record your Amex transactions. Using the Capture expense tool can make recording expenses quicker as well. It’s not quite as slick as a live Open Banking feed, but it’ll still keep your records tidy.
Unfortunately, without Open Banking support on Amex’s side, there’s no way for Solo (or any other app like it) to connect. If you’d like to see that change, we highly recommend dropping Amex a line and asking if they have plans to support Open Banking in Australia.
