GST inclusive/exclusive

Hi DCMF , 

Currently we only show transactions as GST inclusive in the app. Can you please give me a little more info? 

• Is it a personal preference to show amounts as exclusive or do you have to do it this way? 
• Do you only need to show GST exclusive amount on your invoice or do you need it in other places as well?

Any information you can give us will help us understand your needs and how we address them!

I usually charge hourly rates or fixed fees, GST exclusive and add the GST.

It is my personal preference, although I do have a client that has rates that are fixed and include GST - so I reallly need both options, depending upon my client

Hi DCMF​ , I'm Liz, one of the product managers working on Solo. We're about to introduce the new GST options that you were asking for. You can choose if GST is included in the price you set or added on to your price. 

We're going to run a beta so we can get feedback before rolling this out to all Solmates. We'll include you in the beta so you should soon see it appearing in your app. If anyone else would like to be included in the beta, please reply back to this thread and we can include you too.

It is possible that this could work for my needs.

for my cients, I like to show the hourly/fixed rate with the GST seperate - It is also easier for me when balancing bank accounts and ensuring that the money is kept seperate for BAS

I woud love to be involved in any further developmets that you'd like tested :)
