Help

Hi All, 

 

I have a problem, I bought solo for mum to give it a go, but she has been unwell and her accountant passed away, now I’m trying to complete her 2024-2025 tax, no my issue is how do you run the profit and loss report? My app will only show this financial year and last financial year, seems we can go back to the year before that. I have screenshot my options.

    We've had some robust discussions internally about this. I don't have a concrete update to share today, but I'm hoping to have some good news on this before much longer. 

  • My mum is very old school, everything written in a Ledger book, and all invoices are paper from her clients, so I have been given a big bag of books and invoices to start entering into solo so we can then do her 24-25 tax return in which she is late for and has an extension in place for a few months, but as mentioned the entries I have put in I can’t access and run a report

    No arguments here, I'd be frustrated in your shoes as well. 

    Can I ask if you have an internal or external deadline for filing the FY25 taxes? We (the community team) are advocating for this to get done ASAP, so I'm keen to understand your needs in more detail.

    yes a little frustrating when I can’t go back to previous financial years to retrieve information, otherwise I would have to purchase another type of app that I can finish her 24-25 tax and spend more hours on it

    With regards to the options available from the Profit and loss report: this isn't a bug with your app or anything like that, but the only available options from that menu (currently).

     

    This limitation clearly seems like it's causing and will continue to cause issues, so I'll flag this with the product team to see if we can make some improvements here and if there's anything we can do in the meantime.
