Newly Setup Bank Accounts Not registering transactions

Hi there! 

I am new to Solo. I've setup my bank accounts, and there has been a number of transactions going through my back accounts, but Solo is not receiving them. When I go to the Connected account settings, it says that it needs one transaction tp get things rolling.

 

What do I do to get this working? Is this an issue on the back side? My business bank account was opened in 2008. Thank you!

  • So me again, I've gone to Westpac and it seems like I need activate it from their end as well. But I need a MYOB Bank Authorisation Code to do that. I was not provided with one when I registered my accounts. Where do I obtain one please?

     

  • Hey HeidiRioma​ it can take a couple of days for your bank account to sync up with Solo! When did you connect it? Have you made a transaction with this account since you connected it via Connected Accounts in Solo?

    As for that bank authorisation code it sounds like you're trying to connect to bank feeds, which Solo doesn’t use. Instead, we use Open Banking, which is the safest and most secure way to connect your account 🙌 No codes needed, just a smooth and secure connection!   • Thanks Maggie, I connected it two days ago. Yes, there has been a number of transactions that went through my business bank account, but these are not showing in Solo as yet. Okay Iooks like I have to be a bit more patient.

     

    Good to know that Solo doesn't use bank feeds. I had a look at the link you provided. Looks like I need to complete the form Open Banking data sharing Authority as my business account was created before November 2021. Gosh, so much jargon!

    Hey HeidiRioma​ it sounds like you've done everything you needed to since you were able to go through the whole Connected Accounts setup and select your bank account in Solo! It doesn't sound like you'll need to do anything else. I'd recommend giving it a few more days and then if it still hasn't shown up by early next week, reach out to is via the digital assistant (More > Digital Assistant) in your Solo app! We'll be able to take a closer look there
