Upgrade from Solo to Business Lite

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience in upgrading their plan to Business Lite and how you go about integrating your Solo data? I just think I need the extra functionality of Lite. Thanks, Kev.

    While we don't yet have a native way to import/export data between Solo and other systems (like Business Lite), a potential workaround would be to create one large invoice and one large expense that incorporates all of the data-to-date (you could even split this between this + last FY). 

     

    Say you had 10 invoices, all for $100, you can create a single invoice totaling $1000 and indicate in the notes what this represents. You can then do the same thing with your expenses. This would make sure the money balances out, but wouldn't be as detailed as an invoice-by-invoice import/export. 

    If that changes in future, we'll be sure to share updates here on the Forum, it's definitely an idea that's on our teams radar as we work towards making Solo even smarter and easier to use ☺️

    This is extremely disappointing to read as before I joined & started to use SOLO I asked a lot of questions & one of them was is it possible to upgrade & import the data & I was advised by one of your representatives that yes this was possible.
    I haven't been happy with SOLO right from the beginning as it's no where near as user friendly or give you the functionality that is required as what the representative told me.
    I didn't rush into the decision to use SOLO it took a few weeks & quite a few phone calls/live chats to convince me that SOLO was all I needed.
    Extremely disappointed with the answer above & will definitely be changing to a different accounting packing far away from MYOB & XERO.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had a less than fantastic experience so far, but I'm here to help! As of my previous comment from 2025, the advice is still correct - at this time, Solo doesn't offer an upgrade path to import/export data between systems (although this is on our radar!).

     

    I wasn't able to find any previous interactions with our teams, so I'd be really curious to know where the conflicting advice may have come from! If you've spoken with someone who has offered conflicting details about what Solo can provide, we'd love to have it corrected.
