Consolidated Tax Codes

I recently joined MYOB Business Lite and I'm wanting to consolidate tax codes but have been told by support that this isn't possible. There is an existing consolidated tax code so I'm unsure why one ...

Hi Duff_W,

In MYOB Business Lite, there is no option to create a consolidated tax code. The system only allows for combining tax codes, not consolidating them. This means you cannot create a new consolidated tax code for your retail wine sales to combine GST and WET collected. You will need to manage these tax codes separately within the system.

Hi Earl,

 

Thank you for responding to my post. I still don't have a resolution to my issue and we are close to selling our wine in the retail space. Any suggestions on a work around within the system? I wondered if we could upgrade to AccountRight, create the consolidated tax code, then migrate back to MYOB Business Lite.

    Hi Duff_W,

    Currently, there is no migration path from MYOB Business to AccountRight. We recommend reaching out to an accountant or tax advisor for an accurate answer regarding this issue.
