RE: Pending - OP Change of Bank Account - Bank Statement Required
Hello,
Received an email this morning from clientsupport@myob.com.au asking me to verify change of my nominated bank account (for online payments) and saying they will hold up future payments until I upload form of verification (bank statement, welcome letter, transaction history).
Yes, I did change nominated bank account for online payments, more than 3 month ago. Why need for verification all the sudden? Is this email address legit?
My previous bank account was scammed/hacked, and that's the reason for bank account change.
I don't want to use online payments option. What will happen if I don't verify my bank account?
btw this is getting ridiculous, the bank account which require verification is sending bank feeds every day to MYOB

The time it takes to get your business verified for secure invoicing depends on how your business is set up. You can find more details in the FAQ’s section "How long does it take to verify my business?" from the link I shared. And don't worry, MYOB won't hold onto any customer payments during this period – only the options to share invoices via email, copy link, and SMS will be temporarily disabled.
