Hi Tonya,
Thanks for posting, and great question! You can’t edit a saved GST report directly. Instead, fix it inside the file first, then regenerate and save a fresh GST report for that period.

Thanks Earl,
I am not sure what you mean by "fix it inside the file first"
I Will need to create a new gst report for the same posted gst period that the incorrect one was raised for.
Is this possible?

Hi Tonya,
What Earl means by “fix it inside the file first” is to fix the actual transactions. Instead of editing the GST report itself, you update the data that feeds into it (like the transactions, dates, and tax codes), and then the GST report will refresh and update on its own.
Whether you can create a new GST report depends on whether the original one was only saved as a draft or already finalised. Note that you can’t lodge or post a second GST report for the same period. It’s best to check in with your accountant so they can let you know the best way to handle it for your situation.
Cheers,
Princess

So, what you are saying is that as I have saved what I thought was correct I cannot delete it or change it. Is that correct?
Thanks
