Transaction report

I need a report that categorises all transactions by date paid, similar to the General Ledger Report, but showing the date of payment rather than the date the bill/ sale was created.

    Hi ClaudiaC

     

    I see you need a transaction report like this for your needs. From what I know, you can generate the Category Transactions report to gather this information. If you change the accounting method to cash instead of accrual, the report should display payments rather than invoices or bills.

      Hi Genreve, 

      I jumped the gun, this report still does not show what I need. In the accrual setting it shows the Memo/ Payee which helps me to see who has made payment, whereas when I change the setting to "cash" it shows the info I need, but not the payee which makes it impossible to use.

        Hi ClaudiaC,

         

        I noticed that the missing column is affecting how useful the report is. I think it would be great to suggest adding it to the Ideas Exchange for the future report update consideration.
