Leave liability report

I have just looked at the 'Leave Liability Report' for the first time.

I have 'Holiday Pay Due' showing dollar amounts for several staff that left some years ago.  They all have appropriate 'termination date' loaded and final payslips show 'final pay' calculations for all leave catagories.

'Leave Balance Report' shows them at zero

How do I get the 'Leave Liability Report' to correct itself?

  • Hi TraceyS2,

Thanks for checking this. I understand why seeing former employees in the report would be confusing.

The Leave Liability Report is a point-in-time estimate based on the report date, so it can show different figures from the current Leave Balance Report after a final pay has been processed.

As the affected employees’ leave balances are zero, run the report with only current employees selected. If former employees still appear, export the report to Excel and remove those rows before using it.
