Payday Filing - File not being created for New Employee

    The answer to my question is YES.  The start date has to be in the same pay period.

Hi Jacqui_M 

But you could go back and re-create the EI return/new employee form for the period that included his start date.

    I did try that but it didn't work.  I guess becase there was no pay for him in that period?
