To my knowledge, there is not a report that will provide a list of all transactions that don't have a category assigned to them.
However, below is how I would obtain that list:
- Go to Reports>>Accounts>>Transactions Journals and run the General Journal report
- Firstly, update the Source Journal filter to be All and a suitable date range
- Add in the Category Name or ID field using the Insert/Modify>>Show/Hide option. This will add in that category assigned to that transaction to that report.
It would then be a matter of viewing all the transactions that don't have a category listed. Alternatively, send it out to Excel for additional filtering or sorting.
