Copy accountright 2017 to new computer

Hi all,

we are purchasing a business that has Accountright 2017 on the dinosaur computer. The existing owner brought Accountright outright and doesn’t pay subscriptions. I want to transfer the history file to a new laptop so she can take the existing computer. I only need to view the records of previous transactions and sales as we have our own accounts and customer records system. Can I do this easily? Please may you help!

    Hi Iamnewhere,

     

    It's awesome to know that you've got a new laptop. Surely, you can transfer your AccountRight 2017 files on it. You'll just need to create a backup of the file from your previous computer. After creating a backup file, install AccountRight 2017 on your new laptop, then transfer and restore the file. This will allow you to view the records of previous transactions and sales on the new laptop. See this link for full, detailed instructions.
