Invoice Text Filter Search
hello, I am wanting to pull up a report of old and new invoices with a specific name that is mentioned in the invoice. is there away that this can be done please? thabk you team

Have you tried 'find transactions'
This appears along the bottom of the command centre screen. Second along after TO do list
There are several tabs to choose from and if you go into the advanced filters there are different fields you can fill in to limit your search .
The resulting search can then be printed.
Depending on what the specific name that you are searching for actually is there could be a better report that you could export to excel if needed. eg Customer Sales History

I was not successful, is there a field where I can search "description" ?
in the invoice the name I am trying to filter is in the description and I am struggling with this.

What are you looking for exactly?
The only description in find transactions is the description of the transaction not the payee
This makes looking for a contact in spend money is going to be difficult
What other fields can you think of that would be used to narrow the transactions down
Is there a particular general ledger code you use for instance
Is there an amount that you know?
