Thanks for your responses Genreve_S and Mike_James.
MyTrucking are saying as their program uses 'API integration' to send across the data they have no control over what happens in MYOB and my questions are a MYOB issue/answer.
As suggested, I established that these invoices were generating as Item rather than Service (which we normally use). I have created a new invoice template and have worked out this problem.
I also established that when the data is pushed across to MYOB an invoice is created with an invoice number generated and sits in the MYOB system waiting for us to finalise details and send out. Is there a way MYOB can create some sort of notification advising that new invoices have arrived into the system so that nothing is missed?
Hi AEH2,
Thanks for the update. It’s good to hear you found the issue with the invoices coming through as Item instead of Service, and that creating a new invoice template has resolved it.
As MyTrucking sends the invoice information to MYOB through an API, the invoice is created automatically in MYOB and then remains there for you to review and finalise. For the notification you’re asking about, I’d recommend checking with MyTrucking first to see whether they have an alert or report for invoices successfully sent to MYOB.
Regards,
Sai
