Hi Marvian Invenio MartiB and SanjayPandit
Our teams' investigations into that error indicate it is caused by out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates. To confirm if this is causing your issue check the diagnostic log for the following error:
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
If the diagnostic log shows that error make sure Windows and security updates are completed. You can also try putting your company file online to report STP.
Other users have reported they received that error if running Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2. Updating to Windows 10 resolved the error.
If the diagnostic log contains a different error please provide a screenshot of that log so I can assist further.

Hi Tracey,
Below error message occourred when I tried to delete a pay. We are running Windows 10 Pro with all updates up to date. About 5 weeks ago we couldn't report pay to ATO and couldn't delete pay as we used to be able to.
With the issue unable to report to ATO the system only prompts that the system can't report to ATO and asks to do it later. However when going to payroll reporting later all pays processed in the system are not showing in the list to report to ATO.
Please look into the issue urgently as I am not the only user facing this issue. Thanks.

Hi Invenio
Thanks for that diagnostic log. You can see that the error you're getting:
MYOB.Huxley.API.HuxleySingleTouchPayrollServiceException: (SingleTouchPayrollServiceError): Error while trying to check pay event status from 'https://stp.payroll.prod.myob.com/businesses/2c4217ee-f0a5-4210-ace2-747656d78823/payruns/99c93d81-e...' ---> System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
Is the same as the error mentioned in my previous reply:
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
This means that your issue is due to out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates. You will need to make sure Windows and security updates are completed and that you are using a supported version: System requirements
Please let me know if you need further help.

Hi Tracey,
I believe our system are all up to date and I am confirming with our IT.
However the error log shown was only when I tried to delete a pay. If you see my original post those two screen shots showed we couldn't report pays to ATO and we still can't. When going to Payroll Reporting and click on "Check Payroll Details" it shows "Something went wrong at our end" and I have attached it here for your reference as well. Obviously there is something going on your end.
In essense we are not able to report pays to ATO for almost three fortnights now and going online is not an option for us.
Please assist ASAP. Thanks.

Hi Invenio
Your diagnostic log shows the error The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. This means that the Reporting centre cannot create the secure channel required to connect to the ATO. This is caused by out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates or the Windows version is no longer supported.
Other users have reported they received that error if running Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2. Updating to a supported Windows version resolved the error.
Please let me know if you need further help.
