Payroll Activity Report is different to the MYOB autofill for Total salary and wages.

Good morning - I am trying to lodge my IAS and have noticed that the Payroll Activity Report gives me a different amount as a total for salary and wages to the autofill in the MYOB field for lodgemen...

Hi MediCo 

 

When preparing BAS/IAS, the existing BAS/IAS set up are using to pre-fill the numbers. For the total salary and wages field, all the selected payroll categories for that particular field calculates together to come up with the total, any applicable deductions selected will reduce the total sum as well. Meanwhile, the Payroll Activity Summary report lists deductions separately.

 

Therefore, please do review the BAS set up of that particular reporting field, if you prepare the activity statements online, this Help page has more details on how to update the settings.
