Search for accounts by name in the Find Transaction window

In AccountRight 2020.2 (and previous versions) it does not seem possible to search for accounts by name in the Find Transactions window. Find Transactions - Account tab - Search by "Account" - in the adjacent search field you can only enter an account number or choose the drop down to scroll through all your accounts. If you try entering an account name it just defaults to the first account in your account list.

    Hi ianed 

     

    The ability to search accounts by name, not number, is a preference within the software. Should you wish to account name search within the software Setup>>Preferences>>Window>>Select and Display Account Name, Not Account Number would need to be enabled.
