Why can't I search by address? Try telling your boss you just can't do it when an iPhone can. So frustrating. Please bring it back.
Please can we have the facility to search by address?
As a local tradie the postcode search is no good as hundreds of addresses get brought up for the same area.
It’s frustrating because the guys know we've been there before so don’t worry about things like surnames and now i am unable to locate the customers details. I’m sure i could in my old version.

- I agree 100%. This function was available in Premier. We just upgraded to AccountRight Live and we were promised no reduced functionality. But this is a real annoyance to us.

I would also like to see the search by address feature returned as like Elaine we run a trades based business and are often given job sheets with incomplete name and address details.

I would also like this feature returned ... I am an MYOB Approved Partner and for a lot of my clients this is the biggest reason they haven't or won't upgrade to AccountRight Live ... for so many of them it is a function they use on a daily basis and don't want to be without.

be able to seach card file with address, you could do this in a few versions before, but now cant.

I just checked my copy of AccountRightPlus Version 19.7 and the function is there.
I wonder why it was removed?
The older versions have allowed you to search the Card File by address, i can't find this option anymore.
it is frustrating having to pull a Report up of Card File by Address in excel and conduct a search this way, it is very time consuming.
Can this search option be re-instated? or is there an alternate way?
We have been asking for this to be reinstated since October 2015. Unfortunately we keep being given false hope with this feature being reinstalled. Firstly it was in the next update, then by the end of November, then the middle of December, then after the Christmas / New Year break, then the next upgrade, then being told it isn't even in the list of things being amended and that whoever informed us gave us incorrect information, and last week no one could give any time frame at all !!! This is a major feature that we rely on. Can someone please sort this out urgently. Again at this very moment I am talking to someone in tech support who has no information in regard to this feature. He has advised me that he doesnt have direct access to development team and they handle this, but unfortunately they can not be contacted and I basically can try the Chat Room.

I used to use the address search all the time too. I find it extremely annoying it is not in this version. If there were not other improvements that outweigh the frustration of this flaw I would have reverted back to a 19.x version.
To get around it for the time being I have exported the address list report to excel and use excel to search through it.
And yes I agree with XLNT......The more options for searching and filtering the better and I don't understand why MYOB has opted to regress.
Can we please search by contact name too - great when you know the person but not their company name. I's almost impossible to search for this in 2013.
