Thanks so much for sharing this—you're absolutely right, that Square surcharge can make matching tricky, and we totally understand how important split payments are for your setup. Especially with made-to-order items and deposits, you need a bit more flexibility.

While Tap to Pay is a great option for many, we know it’s not one-size-fits-all—and it’s clear you’ve already got a system that works for you.

Good news is our epic Community Lead Han-Solo is working away behind the scenes with you via Digital Assistant to help find a solution. We're not leaving you hanging! Keep an eye on that thread, and we’ll keep you posted as we explore the best way forward.

Also adding square payment and then being able to match with with your bank transaction.  The amount differs due to the square surcharge and can't be matched at the moment.  I know you have your tap to pay option however, I already have square and your tap to pay doesn't allow split payments, I need payments that allow this as my items are made to order and my customers pay a deposit first.
