Iāve been seriously considering moving across from another program to MYOB Solo because I really like how clean and simple the app looks.
However, one major drawback for me is that there doesnāt appear to be a quoting feature within the app. As a business owner, clients often request quotes quickly, and being able to create and send quotes directly from my phone is essential.
I genuinely believe adding a quoting feature would be a huge advantage for Solo and make it far more competitive for trades and service-based businesses. Iām actually quite surprised it hasnāt been implemented yet.
If this feature were added, I would strongly consider making the switch.

We have been loving this program, super easy to use - a bit of a shame you canāt send them from a computer but we can live with that if thereās an option to quote in the near future. Will likely change programs if it doesnāt become available
Love using solo but may have to change of quoting isn't available in the near future as I believe it looks unprofessional using an invoice as a quote. Fingers crossed š¤ you guys get it included soon

Quotes is on our 2026 list, but we don't yet have a timeline for when it will launch.
In the meantime, you could use an invoice, and include "Quote only" in the Notes to the customer field.
I need a quoting feature asap or having to ditch solo and go with some other program that allows this feature

Just a quick status update on this one ā itās officially on the shortlist for 2026!
We donāt have a timeline just yet, but weāll be shouting it from the rooftops once official work begins. Until then, keep the comments and votes coming, because we absolutely want your suggestions in the mix to help us develop the right tools for our Solmates.
The ability to generate quotes on the fly would make this app much more usable, would love this feature but after 6 months and no timeline don't know if they are going to do it.
