I'd find it tremendously helpful to be able to allocate a job code and a cost centre on each line of a transaction. I often have purchases that cover multiple cost centres but can only allocate a cost centre to the entire transaction. This would cover all transactions including payroll, sales, purchases, general journals etc.

This feature already exists within AccountRight. When you record a new transaction, when clicking enter the next line will prefill, however you have the option to update that to your preferences. To learn more about transactions, check out this page.

Hey AmandaMYOB,
Let me clarify - I would like an additional column for cost centre, next to the job column so that multiple cost centres can be allocated on a single transaction. Further, I'd put the GST column first, then job code, then cost centre.
