In another job I use Xero and when doing Journal Entries for Accruals it is so great that you enter your Journal and then have the option to select a date to auto reverse it and does it for you automatically.
I am currently using Accountright and some Journal entries that I do are long and it is painful to have to repeat the whole entry just to reverse it. We are all looking to save time and mistakes.

There is a way you can do this by temporarily changing the Security settings. Go to Setup, Preferences, and click on the Security tab and then tick the box for Transactions CAN'T be Changed; They Must be Reversed (System-wide). Once you have clicked on OK you can go into a journal in the same way you would normally edit it and then you will see that when you click on Edit at the top, there is an option to Reverse General Journal Transaction. Once this is done for any relevant entries, return to the Security setup and change it back to allow Editing.
