Hi MYOB Community and Development Team,
I’d like to bring attention to a feature that may have been overlooked.
I’m a big fan of the MYOB Capture app—I use it to upload 99% of our bills and find it a great tool for managing documents efficiently. The ability to simply take a photo of a bill or document and have it upload straight into MYOB is seamless and incredibly useful.
Recently, I’ve started using the feature to attach documents to employee cards under Payroll—for things like contracts and certifications. It’s a fantastic addition for keeping employee records organised.
However, I’ve noticed that documents for employees can only be uploaded from a file on a device, and not directly via the Capture app. Given that the Capture app already exists and integrates well with the rest of MYOB, this feels like it could be an easy and valuable improvement—allowing users to take a quick photo of a contract or certification and upload it directly to the employee's card.
Is this something the team is considering, or can we get it on the product development radar?
