We MUST be able to see time & dates for processed/ posted, approved, completed etc. for pay super runs (like with the STP)
You can not see these things in cloud online MYOB business (apparently you can in Account Right??) and to get this information you need to contact MYOB support....
With more stringent pay day super laws fast approaching & the ATO advise they will be cracking down on people who do not ensure super hits their employees funds with 7 business days of the pay date, how do employers/ bookkeepers/ accountants prove to the ATO that they have complied in time if we can't see this information?? We are currently already processing super payments with pay runs for a client & they are approving the payment straight away. The money is leaving their account straight away but it takes more than 7 days for the status in MYOB to change to completed! So if pay super is set up correctly & If the employer is approving the super as soon as the pay run is completed (on the date it is paid!) & the money leaves their account straight away, it is completely out of their hands - how do they prove they have done the right thing if the super is not hitting their employees account on time?! The majority of employers are NOT going to pay their super before they process wages!!
Do better MYOB or else you will be under the hammer with people contacting you for this information once the ATO starts coming down on people who they think aren't complying!
