Along with the number of items picked a field in the product item of the gross weight so that we have a total gross weight for the couriers

Im wondering if its possible to customise Item sales Template to add a column to display Weight
My iTems has price and I want to add a custom field to include weight every item which gets multiplied by qty of item by weight eg qty 10 custom field weight is 8kg total is 80
I would really appreciate any help in this
