Hi

 

It would be a good idea to email payment summaries to the employees from MYOB like the payslips rather than doing it manually

Hi @JasonHill ,

 

I believe you may have mistakenly maked this as duplicate, as the link you referenced was in relation to emailed PAYG Summaries.

 

@Tania_Thas requested you edit the PAYG summary template so that the postal address prints further to the right so we no longer have to fold the printed summaries weirdly to make the address line up with the window in the envelope.

This is something MYOB should look at doing electronically within the Software - emailing employees their individual PAYG summaries and the ATO new Tax Declarations. This should not be at an extra cost.

When processing the p[ayment summaries you have the option to save them in the folder for that year, if you do this you can email the payment summaries but using an attachment on your emails.

Is being able to email payment summaries using MYOB something that is going to addressed for the coming years? It would be so much easier if we could email the payment summaries directly from MYOB (like a statement, invoice, purchase order etc) instead of having to send individual emails to each employee. Thank you Smiley Happy

We have a client who has 140 employees. This is the first time they have used myob to do the payment summaries so it was trial and error for them. When it got to the printing stage, they were hoping there was going to be a section where they could click on all the payment summaries that have an email address and then email to their employees. We were thinking it would be a similar process to emailing payslips.

Can this please be considered for the upgrade as doing a PDF for 140 employees then doing an individual email for each is very time consuming.

The more votes it has the greater the chance that it will be shortly implemented.

Thank you for your idea in regards to AccountRight and emailing of payment summaries. As mentioned by @TonyLane this idea has been suggested elsewhere on the AccountRight Idea Exchange. I would recommend showing your support for emailing payment summaries

This feature MUST be implemented as a logical and integral function. I was very surprised this is not automated. It is yet another limitation to this software. Anyone tried Xero?

We have over 140 employees each year that are seasonal so we have no mailing address for them. It would be much easier and quicker to complete the payment summaries and be able to tick them all and email like we do with the payslips.
