MYOB Invoices (app): Capture expenses

It would great to be able to add expenses using the MYOB on the go app. I have used other online accounting software services that enab has function. The competitors app allows you to take a photo of the receipt, upload to the database, then reconsile once the feed is received from the bank.

Two of my clients so far have jumped ship to Xero because they can simply take a photo on their phone whilst in the Xero app, enter a couple of details and voila it pops up in the bank feeds with said attached photo ready for reconciling.  I LOVE myob but this feature is a must in todays environment if they do not want more and more clients to move to competitors.  Yes you can purchase add ons, however most clients are disgusted by the fact that you need to link an add on when a competitor offers it as part of their program.  Sorry but I don’t want any more clients to move to Xero as I am not really a big fan of their program.  But these are the functions that clients love.  Whereas as a bookkeeper I enjoy MYOB more as it offers a more professional functionality.  There needs to be a balance.  Thanks

Hi All,

Earlier this year we had released MYOB Capture that allows you to do just this. You can take an image of your receipts and have them uploaded to your MYOB In Tray for processing. This app is now available for both Android and iOS.
