Print/Email Pay slips: Increase message field on screen

I usually write a mesage to my team when their payslips go out and the old MYOB versions used to have a box where you could read the enitre message. The current version is a single line and it is very difficult to read. I would be wonderful to have a box (with multiple lines and a count down if it will only take so many characters) to type in rather than a single line.

I just wanted to comment on how ridiculous it is that we have all this screen space, and we have two lines visible in payslip messages (and other messages such as remittance advices).  It makes it really awful to work with if you need to put a lot in your message.  Surely this can be increased?
