We deleted the timesheet for the day that kept giving approval error messages, created new entries and it still would not approve. These are employees that have been using the Team app for over a year now, it's not a setup issue. Every other day in the last fortnight went through except for this one (and only for two employees out of ten using the app). We already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fix the display issue. I tried to submit a ticket through MOCA, but when I said it was for different software, it closed the conversation and said I had to ring support. Given that I was under time pressure to get payroll completed, I did not have capacity to sit on the phone for an extended period waiting to talk to someone. Last time I rang support for an issue with the Team app, we went back and forth for two weeks until they finally spoke to the dev team and found out it was a known issue. Their suggested solution was I should check every time sheet individually to ensure that the correct times were being recorded, which only works if the staff are writing down their hours somewhere else...and defeats the purpose of having an app. So I am not overly confident in the knowledge or ability of the support team. Issues with MYOB Teams I am unable to approve timesheets for two employees, both for the same day. Every other day has approved. I have tried deleting the times they have entered, and re-entering a timesheet. This makes no difference. We are also getting employees reporting that they are unable to view submitted timesheets in the app. This is leading them to think that they haven't submitted the timesheet, and doing it all over again. It shouldn't let someone submit two timesheets for the same day! Re: Opt-out of Benefit program in Flare I would like to add my voice to this request for an option to turn this off by default please. As it stands the option to untick employee benefits is at the bottom of the dialogue box, and it's really easy to miss that you haven't removed the tick before you hit next. We never asked for employee benefits, we don't want it, and I don't have employee permission to disclose their details to a third party. Re: Standard Pay Yes MYOB does this when you make a change to someone's payroll settings. Hey why don't I just change this other setting that you didn't ask me to change? Re: Date on receipt displaying in American Format Hi Mike_James or maybe MYOB could fix the issue so that the date in the document produced by the accounting software confirms to the conventional format in the country that we are in? That seems fairly basic functionality in 2026. As does the ability to email receipts.... Re: Date on receipt displaying in American Format I've been with my current company for over 7 years, this isssue has been known about the whole time and MYOB has done NOTHING to fix it. Absolutely ridiculous, we are in Australia, use the date format that is the convention for this country. Just had a customer ring up in a panic over a receipt saying there were charges from March and July, he thought he was paying twice, junior colleague also in a panic. I had to stop and investigate. But no, it's just the date on the receipt is showing 12/3 and 12/7 instead of 3/12 and 7/12. This has wasted half an hour of everyone's time and phonecalls, and now I'm here having a rant AGAIN about this issue. Instead of giving us employee benefits and things that we never asked for, fix the basic functionality of the software. It's 2026, we should be able to email receipts from the software, and we should be able to have dates displaying in the correct format. Get your basics right, then work on the fruit. If you wonder why you have lost market share to Xero, look no further. We also didn't want online payments, will be switching it off if we ever get through the verification process. One month of emails and phone calls now with no progress. The CEO will not be happy to be told there will be redundant links on our invoices, looks very unprofessional. Re: In Tray not accepting invoices We are also having issues with in-tray not showing documents that we know are in there. Nothing loads. When I try attaching documents from an email, the whole thing appears greyed out and locks up. This has all happened since the update to attach things to sales invoices. Great testing, again.
