Purchase Order Number when converted to a Bill

Why is it that in Account Right Browswer version, it is not possible to retain the original PO number when changing a purchase between Quotes, Orders of Bills.  You can do this easily on the desktop version - it makes no sense that this option is not available in the browser version.  This has caused us numerous issues in tracking back purchase orders.
