make surcharges more obvious for the customer

it's great that Paypal is now available as an option for online invoice payments - however, the surcharge seems to be a nasty surprise for the payer - it is not very obvious that they are being charged the surcharge, the only clue is in the payment amount, which is easily overlooked.
payment by credit card does display a line with the surcharge, but it doesn't really stand out (faded grey text) and is also easily missed. 

We've had a few calls now from disgruntled customers who didn't see the surcharge.  

I would like to see the surcharge to be displayed more clearly for all payment methods.
