Dear MYOB development team,   When will you realise and correct the Report Packs to allow some reports to be run as Cash (i.e. GST reports) and some reports as Accrual (PnL & Balance sheet) within the one pack.   As beautiful as the concept is to have these pre-defined pre-packaged report packs, many small businesses report and lodge their BAS on a cash basis, but need to see their PnL & Balance sheet on an accrual basis.   After wasting too many hours trying to find a way to make these packs work correctly (and this is just one of it's failings) I have had to abandon the project.  What a waste this has been of your development effort if you don't correct this in a reasonable time frame.   AlanT ... Hi Team,   The new Bank Transactions window needs to have a Refresh option that will refresh the list of unallocated transactions using your current preferred options.   At the moment, if you use the [F5] key to refresh the window, the screen reverts back to the default sort order of oldest on top.  If you have the entries sorted into any other order, these preferences are lost.   Please direct your development efforts to making this software much easier to use.   Thanks,   AlanT   ... Hi MYOB,   When generating reports in MYOB Essentials, the system appears to default to the GST Settings for both the Balance Sheet and the profit and loss reports.   These two reports should not necessarily default to the same accounting method that is used to report the GST activity statement.   Each of the options that the user selects for each report should be saved between sessions.   Regards, AlanT ... Really need to have a function to be able to set default payment terms for each supplier to make sure the correct due date comes up on the bill when entered. It's there in the AR Desktop version but not the cloud based version.  It's very frustrating to have to look at each bill for due dates, payment terms.  I may know them off hand - a new employee will not.   ... Hi MYOB,   One of the widgets on the Essentials dashboard is called How your business is tracking and it shows the current financial year month by month.   I find this to be fairly useless until you get to the third quarter of the financial year.  Rather than use the scale of a financial year, this would be of much more help if it were a sliding scale showing the past 12 months.   For example, how pointless is this:     All it says is that a significant number of invoices were raised in February.  BTW, this ledger uses a calendar year as their financial year.   Regards,   AlanT ... Hi there,   It'd be lovely to have the followig: An option for undoing recent allocations i.e. if someone mistakenly allocates a list of unallocated transactions and then realizes that there were errors in them, he/she can go back to unallocate recent transactions  MYOB should have a history function that allows us to see the history of changes made to the accounts i.e. what I did/have done recently and can change them without looking/searching for or identifying specific transactions in order to unallocate them back to what they were before...   Hope you understand.   Regards, ... Bebore we were upgraded to the new Essentials we were able to view invoices by "Unsent" status.  This is a useful tool to ensure that no invoices accidently get missed when you have many invoices for the month.   Being able to specifically see invoices created but not yet sent to a customer is a very necessary tool. ... Hi,   Can you please add "overdue" to the list of statuses we can filter the invoices by, in the invoices list. I have been using MYOB Essentials for a number of years.   My issue is with creating invoices and not having a function to manually alter the GST amount. Some of my invoices have GST free disbursements, so when I create an invoice, it automatically calculates GST on the whole of the invoice amount, which is not an accurate reflection of the GST payable.   So then I need to create another line with the GST free amount, which involves having to pull out my calculator and do the physical calculations.   This same issue arises with entering Expenses. Some bills that I receive have GST free items, but when entering Expenses, the GST is calculated on the whole invoice amount.    Is there a reason why one of the leading accounting software developers cannot make a minor upgrade to their Essentials software to enable users to insert data in a more timely manner? I use another accounting program which also has a bill "Tray" for bills to be emailed directly. This program gives you a notification if you enter a bill that has the same bill number. You can click on a link to this other bill (already entered) to review the details & see if this is the exact same bill. This prevents accidently entering a bill multiple times by mistake. On the new Essentials platform, if the dashboard could have similar capabilities as the "old essentials", in accessing a quick view of account balances for GST liability, super, we also used to view our liability balances (for equipment Hire purchases under creditcard account). Hi  I am new to this forum but have been using MYOB for awhile now, and the upgrade has a few issues.  Is anyone else have trouble with changing the name of an invoice?  I have a customer who wants the invoice made out to a different business name and for some reason I am unable to change it, I can the price and the description but not the customers name.    The only way is to delete the invoice and start again, and this is not ideal.    Can we we get this change please??/  ... Hello  In the new MYOB you cannot print multipule invoices, this is very frustrating. When using the old platform you could select the invoices and then hit print. Now you have to select an invoice and down load that invoice and then print the pdf, this is a very long process and needs to be rectified. Its added so much time to my day and also now i have hundreds of downloaded pdf's of invoices I dont need.   Please let me know how we can print multipul invoices   Regards Emma ... View more
