Invalid filing period

Hi,   I have been trying to file my G.S.T Return for Dec 2019 and Jan 2020 two monthly filings, has been switched to 6 monthly filings from Feb 2020.    When I do try to file the two monthly one ...

    Hi JeffHulse 

     

    Based on my understanding, the GST Return generated is based on the current setting with myIR. So if that does say that you are on a six-monthly reporting basis this option does need to be selected to complete your IRD return. If you attempt to lodge for a shorter period based for that IRD number it will be rejected at the IRDs end as it doesn't meet the currently set reporting basis.
