We’re always making improvements to our software and the upcoming AccountRight release will be no exception – for one, it will make payroll a lot smoother for you this End of Financial Year (EOFY).

What's coming in AccountRight 2020.2?

  • You won't need to close (roll over) the payroll year
Not only is this a time-saver, but it means you can make adjustments to the previous payroll year.
  • Say goodbye to manually loading new tax tables
You won't need to install a compliance update to get the new tax tables. The correct tax tables will be automatically used based on the pay date.
  • Plenty more to come
We will be sharing the full release shortly, so keep an eye on your inbox.

What's changing?

Microsoft is no longer supporting some of the backend technology AccountRight uses, so we've had to make necessary changes to ensure your software isn’t exposed to any risks from unsupported, obsolete technology.

  • We’re removing the ability to check in / check out
You can no longer switch between online and offline modes of working. Before updating, make sure you have 'Checked In' your company file to avoid any data loss.
  • Changes to how you backup
Users will be unable to work in a file while a backup is taking place.
