You actually have to uncheck the box so that the feature is disabled rather than enabled. This means system wide we don't get a warning up if any jobs are missed when we're processing anything and everything on a daily basis. Compared with Payroll weekly. Pretty extraordinary and not ideal but fixes the journals import problem. The other solution doesn't pertain as my import sheet is in TAB delimited not an Excel spreadsheet and the link form the CF I'd alrady read and had nothing to offer on the problem I was having. This time I will snip this reply and save it on my computer for future reference. That way I'll have it at least. Regards Jannette 2025.1 Importing Payroll Journals Problem N Z user since 2002....local data files. Since updating A/R Premier to 2025.1.0 a few days ago I am getting "Warning 576: Job Number is not specified" code when I import the transaction journals from Payroll. Is there are fix or do I need to wait until Payroll updates for the new financial year coming up soon for N Z? I seem to recall this happening to me once before and thought I had posted about it but I can't find all of my older posts. I have a feeling I just entered them manually in A/R Premier for some weeks until the next Payroll update came out. Regards Jannette SolvedRe: AccountRight N Z Payroll 2024.2 Company File Code Request??? I have been through the site that link refers to a number of times on Monday night and this morning as I was absent yesterday. I couldn't find a spot that helped me generate a code though. You might need to spell it out. I've been using MYOB for years and never came across this problem before when trying to confirm AccountRight Premier and Payroll before. I am not an online user but rather a local user. Our data files are held on our own server. If that makes a difference to advice being given. Premier is still behaving as it always has and confirming successfully without displaying a field with company file code details entry greyed out. It is still using the confirmation window it always has. It's only Payroll that has changed this time for some reason. MYOB support have emailed and I'm not getting any further ahead with them yet either. AccountRight N Z Payroll 2024.2 Company File Code Request??? The past two Mondays when I open Payroll to run it I get an error telling me I can't confirm the payroll data file because I have an incorrect company file code. I have no idea what code this is as I've not been given one that I'm aware of. I have looked around online at MYOB to see if I can obtain this but so far coming up blank. Put a support request through and while I wait for that I will need to run tonight's payroll. I'm being threatened with not being able to run payroll again after 7 days if I don't confirm the data file with the correct code. I understand MYOB is upgrading security which is fine so I'm thinking I've missed a step in this process somewhere. Re: Payroll IR345 Hey Jennie I saw that solution in the knowledge base but didn't really get it but the way youve explained it I do. Ok so next time I strike one of those situations I'll certainly give it a whirl and let you know how it goes. Thanks again Jannette Payroll IR345 Hey There Am I able in Payroll to manipulate the IRD remittance advice period to show the physical payment dates rather than the pay period end dates each month? It doesn't seem so. Why I ask is because the IRD is calculating tax for the month based on physical payment dates rather than pay period end dates and this means that each month the IR345 produced from Payroll may be incorrect if a pay was paid early or late. I can't see anywhere in the actual program to manipulate the date range. The only fix I can think of is to tell Payroll the physical payment date falls within the same month as the pay period end date. Even though that's not always the case. My accountant says that apparently other clients he has who use other supplier Payroll progams are in fact able to manipulate the date range on the IR345. Regards Jannette SolvedRe: AccountRight 2016.3 now available I too am disappointed that MYOB find it exciting to introduce a new-look screen as opposed to improving lost functions from the old 19...versions. I would rather be able to process a payment properly thank you; instead of which over the past two years since upgrading to 2015, 2016 etc the stupid system is still jumping past the actual invoice amount fields and going straight down to the finance charge field. Then I have to delete the amount, reverse back and fill it in where it's supposed to go. That is just one thing in a long list of frustrations since going from 19 to 20..., and when I've gone on the forum and asked about them there's very rarely ever been a solution or a response other than the standard generic phrases prominent in so many threads. It's a geeky flaky program now and it disappoints me big time; given that I had been happily using it since 2002. It crashes alot and is slow as; particularly when importing. I was all set this morning to upgrade the users here at our small business network but seeing the screen and the comments about it has left me no choice but to hold off. We have enough trouble staring at screens all day without adding to it by looking at even more white. Re: AccountRight 2015.3.1 now available Hi There We are running 2015.3.17.3339 so should we update to .4288 as per previous occasions; firstly on the server edition followed by PCs then upgrade the company file? Or can this update be run on any machine in no particular order? Regards Jannette
