When I right click to go to properties where I can usually change the icon etc. I just get a dialog box saying: "Windows can't find the file %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Programs\MYOB\AccountRight\app-2...\silent_installer.ico." How can I fix this please? Note: If I double click on the white square (shortcut) it still opens MYOB but for the life of me I can't re-set the icon. Where would the 2021.4.1 MYOB files be stored...? Under Program Files (x86)\MYOB\AccountRight, I seem to only have folders for 2019.4 and 2020.1API Installer and Server. SolvedRe: Payroll and PAYG tax Thanks gavin12345 and Sam_R most helpful. Yes, everything is set up correctly - just needed to be sure I had the correct understanding as to how this aspect worked. I will give your feedback to the staff member and they can take it up with their accountant. Re: Payroll and PAYG tax Thank you Sam_R the reports look good to me. Is the tax as in PAYG (calculated via the tax table for Tax Free at Student debt rate) dealt with completely by the ATO or do I need to do something this end for that to go against their student debt? This same employee also has extra tax taken out to also go against the debt. I just have it set up as Extra Tax per pay period (last option on the Tax tab in the employee file) - am I supposed to do something else with this? I'm assuming the extra tax gets factored into the Tax that is automatically calculated in their standard pay. Is this correct, or am I supposed to be doing something extra with this also? Clutching at straws her to try and work out why she's getting the tax bill. Payroll and PAYG tax Hi there, I have an employee who selected tax free threshold + STSL on their TFN Declaration form. This was appropriately set in MYOB however, at the end of the year she received a big tax bill. She believes the same will happen again this year as she has just checked her Student loan and there has been no payments to it. It was my understanding that the Student loan payment is automatically calculated in MYOB and added to the PAYG amount, as they reach a certain threshold - have I got that wrong? Not sure what that threshold would be but this staff member is working full time so surely it would have kicked in by now, plus, if she's getting a bill then surely it should have been deducted as the year went along. Have I missed something? Is it possible that it's set up incorrectly? I would very much appreciate if someone could advise. SolvedRe: Sharepoint compatibility. Thank you Steven_M I'll try the drag n drop method. if I need it how do I find the in tray email address? Sharepoint compatibility. Hi there Our organisation is now using Sharepoint for file storage etc. Am I able to share to the MYOB 'In Tray' direct from there, or will I have to download the files to bring them to MYOB? I found a similar question on the forum and it was responded to at the time (2017) by Neil_M stating that it can't be done. Just wondering if this has changed since then as more and more businesses are using Sharepoint. If not, is it going to be addressed sometime in the near future? The work around (downloading the files to upload them to MYOB) seems a bit archaic. I would appreciate your advice on this, thank you. SolvedRe: Shortcut icon Steven_M - thanks so much. All fixed now. :) Re: Shortcut icon Hi Steve Thanks for that info, but on typing AccountRight it finds the 2019.1 version not the current one. I continued just the same thinking it would maybe set-up the icon and when I click on it it would take me to the latest updated version on my computer. But after creating the shortcut, when I went to open it, it's saying there is a newer version and to click the button to update/install the newest version. So I went back and typed AccountRight_2021 and it doesn't take me to any files on my computer just a list of web links under best match - most are announcements from the forum stating that 2021.4 update is available etc. Any other suggestions? Re: Customise reports Mike_James thank you - yes, I deleted the column and formatted as suggested and all good. For my future reference: is there a way to ensure when exporting to Excel from MYOB that the data comes across as numbers and not text... it gets a bit frustrating having to reformat everything when I do my reports? I really appreciate your input. Re: Customise reports Steven_M - now we're getting a little out of my league. I've exported to Excel however my VLookup function is only showing as the formula itself, not the result of the formula. I seem to have a lot of trouble when I export to Excel in that I have to reformat columns to show as numbers and not text, then use AutoSum function to get my totals if I need to delete anything etc. In this case, is there a better work around? I've clicked the Calculate Now button to no avail - I'm still seeing =Vlookup(L13,AccountName,2,False) and not the result. Also, can I use an If function so that the lines that don't have the code in them stay blank? Thanks so much if you're able to help.
