I did finish writing something much more cohesive, but it seems my browser timed out & I accidentally posted an incomplete draft, sorry. Anyway, I'm familiar with Show/Hide filters etc but I was wanting a report that shows Quantity of Product Sold by Customer Type (ie Customer List, Identifier or Price Level). I don't think there is a report that does that. However, I used Sales Reports > Customer > Sales [Customer Detail] & although it doesn't filter by customer type as such, it can filter by Item Type... So I created a custom Item List, called 'Brand', and then added an item label to every product sold by Business A. That way I was able to run a report on Qty of Units sold to each customer & then remove every product that didn't belong to Business A. All sorted :-) Report unit sold by Custom List (either Customer List, Identifier or Price Level) Hi, We've got sales for 2x businesses in the same MYOB file (bad idea I know). I'm trying to generate 3x sales revenue reports for business A (FY23, FY24 & FY25). This isn't a problem as there's a report for that. The problem is, business B sells some of the same products & I need to add the value of that to Business A's revenue. To do this I need to calculate how many products business B has sold for the 3 financial years. I found two reports that could work but require a lot of manual data work to get the end result: Sales Reports > Customer > Sales [Customer Detail]. Lists sales by customer name, not customer type. ie I get a list of every customer name rather than simply Does anyone have any bright ideas how to generate a report that shows qty of product sold by customer type, ie Customer List, Identifier or Price Level. Report unit sold by custom Customer List, Identifier or Price Level need to run a report SolvedRe: Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Hi Shella, You wrote: "may not be the exact wording you were hoping for, but it does show a connection between them." Sorry, but this is WRONG! The description 'Enter interest and fees...' belongs to the permission 'Bank Entry/Deposit Adjustment'. However, it will display against EVERY permission (eg 'Count Inventory' as per image in my previous post). And the description will continue to display (incorrectly) against every other permission until another 'i' icon is moused over. Then it will use that description for every permission. I've covered this above already. It's inorrect, there's no connection between them. I don't need any further response from MYOB becuase, as I said, it's a minor issue which I'm going to ignore. I just wanted to record it so MYOB was aware & to help others. Re: Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Hi Shella, You wrote: "Those descriptions are not literally showing incorrectly." Please refer to attached image. I'm confident that 'incorrect' is a fair & reasonable description. You can call it what you like though :-). Re: Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Thanks Princess, So to summarise, once you mouse over an "i" icon it will display that description (incorrectly) for every other permission until you mouse over another "i" icon. Re: Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Hi Princess, It's not particularly frustrating, it's a minor problem. It was just confusing at first until I realised it was showing the same description for everyting. I've logged out & back in. It hasn't fixed it. Before I consder reinstalling..., as per my message to Earl, I think it's actually normal behaviour, so could you please try to reproduce the error at your end? There's instructions in my previous message. Thanks. Re: Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Hi Earl, Thanks for your response. I cleared cache as per instructions, it still displays wrong information. I don't think there's anything wrong with our program or company file, I think it's just normal behaviour. Could you please try to reproduce at your end? Steps - Go to: Setup > User Access > Manage Roles - Mouse over one of the information icons "i" to display correct text. - Then mouse over any other permission & it will display previous text. Broken - User Permission Tooltips (popup descriptions) Hi MYOB Team, The tooltip descriptions for Permissions don't work correctly. When you mouse over a permission it either doesn't bring up any description or it displays a description from a previous one that was clicked. Image attached. Location: Setup > User Access > Manage Roles Re: Helpful post has been hidden Thanks Doreen :-) Re: Helpful post has been hidden Hi Shella, There wasn't any personal or sensative information on the post & it'd been up since around Oct 2022. You wrote: "Rest assured that we're always providing an accurate resolution and providing additional helpful information" This is factually / objectively false & I'm not assured in the slightest. The entire reason I created the post, that has now been hidden, is precicley becasue of the monumental frustration & waste of time caused by incorrect information repeatedly provided to me by MYOB support staff every time I encounter this particular issue.
