The Pay Now button/QR code will only really appear on the invoice summary as part of the email sent, as opposed to the actual invoice? The customer will then have the opportunity to view the invoice attached to the email? Thanks in advance Re: Adding PayNow button to customised sales invoice Hi Shella, Thankyou for the link. However, I am still not clear on the following: OK, so once verification process is complete, where does the PayNow button appear on the invoice please. I have attached a screenshot form the page you have referred me too and it talks about a link & pay now button/QR code will automatically appear on the invoice. But can we control where it appears if using our own customised invoice? If we are not yet using bank feeds for our company file, will the customer payment still be recorded in MYOB, or do we need to manually enter it? Ie do we need to be using bank feeds for the Online payments entries to be done by MYOB Thanks Adding PayNow button to customised sales invoice Hi there, we are in the process of setting up Online payments to enable our customers to Pay Now on the invoice. We have a customised invoice, created in the desktop version (7 wish to keep using it if at al possible) and I need guidance on which field to add the Pay Now link (button) to the customised form please. SolvedMid year change from Qtrly BAS to Monthly BAS Hi there, We are still operating in MYOB accounting year 2024, waiting on 2024 results to be finalised. We enter our current FY (2025) transactions into MYOB AccountRight Desktop version. We have lodged Dec2024 BAS at end of January We have just been advised by Accountant that they have advised ATO that we are moving to monthly BAS as of 1/1/25. I wish to update this info in the BAS information screen under Company Information, so it will update the Prepare BAS screen when I go to prepare the January2025 BAS. My query is: is there potentially any impact on the GST reports, etc for any dates pre 1/1/25, by changing the GST reporting frequency from Quarterly to Monthly or just continue to be really strict with lock period and no transactions are to be changed (that would impact GST tax codes) prior to 1/1/25. after anyone's experience with making this change mid way during the year please Thanks Pay reversal - clear outstanding electronic pymt transactions Hi there, Today, after processing 24 pays & creating the electronic payment ($24,047) & ABA file, I realised prior to importing the ABA file to the bank that one pay was wrong. So this is what I did: - I REVERSED the individual's Pay (see pic) - it was reversed against the electronic Banking account, $617 - I posted a new pay for the same employee, with corrected details - also to the Electronic Banking Account, $198 - I also REVERSED the prepared Electronic Payment, for the whole original banking file amount, $24,047. - then I went to the Prepare Electronic Payments tab, and selected all the original pays & the new pay, but left the original wrong pay for $617 and the REVERSED Pay $617 (a negative amount) NOT SELECTED. - I created a new ABA file for these selected amounts $23,628 (essentially: 24,047-617+198) - I then imported this bank file into Bank and made pymt Only problem is I am now left with the deselected lines in the Prepare Electronic Payments screen and not sure how to clear as I get a message (see pic) indicating there may be reconciling problems if negative amounts are selected. How do I clear the 2 lines from this screen please? If I select Transaction Clearing account (instead of the Business operating account) the net amount will be zero I would have thought, therefore no reconciling issues? Is this correct? Re: MYOB Teams Hi Samara, Thanks for your reply I will post a suggestion in the Ideas exchange as you have suggested. Re Approving managers: We have discovered that it is possible for an Administrator to approve the timesheet (hours submitted) for employees under an approving manager. MYOB Teams We are in the process of setting up MYOB Teams and have come across some hiccups - Any tips for for obtaining hours for Salaried employees in MYOB Teams: can we create a separate record for them to record hours only. We have 3 employees for whom are on a salary basis, but we wish for them to clockon/off each day in a manfacturing environment. Does anyone have a note on how you achieved this please? I imagine it might have something to do with creating them as an additional employee and having their Employment basis as "Other". - Can Approving managers approve timesheets/clocked hours recorded for employees not in their list - eg normal approving manager is away, but can another approving manager approve employees under the Away manager? If you have a file note on the steps to set this up, it would be most appreciated Re: MYOB Teams Hi there, we are in the procees of starting to set up MYOB Teams and have some queries, for which answers cannot be found in the tutorials: We can see - it appears that employees are added to MYOB Team admin portal - locations are set up - but then approving managers need to be invited for each location, for which there can be multiple approving managers in each location - but employees can only assigned under one approving manager Q: so if the approving manager is away or is unable to sign in to approve timesheets/clockins&outs, can the other Approving managers in that location approve the times, even though staff not listed under their name Q: Can we add a break as standard for each employee, so don't have to manually adjust for each time period clocked when reviewing the timesheets for approval, ie standard lunch break of half hour recorded at 12.30pm each day Q: Step-by-step procedure for allowing a Salaried employee to record hours only (something about a 2nd card created, with Employment basis as "Other" and thus non reportable for STP2) and along with this, do we need to create a new payroll category of Hours record?, with understanding that won't be able to approve as a timesheet to be sent to MYOB (will have to be done manually for now, until MYOB updates MYOB teams ot accept Salaried staff) Thanks Re: ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNT.000199 when trying to run a void pay to add sick leave entitlement hours Thanks Chris. Be interested to know if the time issue does make a difference for future reference, thanks for responding
