"We can't get in touch with the ATO right now, so we haven't created any new activity statements for you. This may also affect your ability to edit or lodge forms. Please try again later." Is this just me, or is there a broader issue RN with MYOB's connection to submit BAS / IAS to the ATO? Thanks, Ben Re: Unable to login Thanks for the reply. I have just successfully logged in so it resolved itself - I guess its just one of those bugs that pops up from time to time. Unable to login Hi. I haven't been able to log in to my Accountright account this morning at all, even after a full reboot etc. The error message I seem to be getting is that my date and time are wrong on my pc and I should fix that. Of course - my date and time are not wrong! Anyone else having this issue? Fix please? Thanks, Re: Setting up additional two-factor authentication methods Yep, I'm getting it. And nobody seems to be around from MYOB support - been "on hold" online for 45 minutes now. Not wishing you any harm but feeling glad its not just me. Re: Setting up additional two-factor authentication methods People power occasionally wins then.....glad I stirred the pot on mike's post Re: Setting up additional two-factor authentication methods Hi Amanda, Does this mean MYOB admits the 20 minute lockout is unnecessary and isn't coming back? Re: Enhanced security measures are live - Update 20/11 *Edit 21/11/24 But Mike, you are yet to explain on what basis - ie what was done to educate the ATO about how stupid an idea this was prior to blindly going in, what analysis of possible solutions was done to find the best one prior to going forward with this clunky one, why was there no nuance in finding a solution which only inconvenienced those who had to be inconvenienced, and finally - if MYOB did not have enough teeth to stand up to the ATO, why did MYOB not engage its user group in the early stages before DUMPING this steaming pile of manure on us - and if necessary, use us to collectively petitition the ATO for a more commonsense approach. Has MYOB learnt NOTHING in this process. It seems the message is still not getting through - please advise how we contact the MYOB CEO - maybe LinkedIN? Re: Enhanced security measures are live - Update 20/11 *Edit 21/11/24 So not only do you force on ahead with this stupid, clunky, inefficient, unnecessary change despite the fact its going to cost you customers, you don't even test it properly prior and you make your long suffering user base the beta testers. It gets even better - well done MYOB!!! Re: Enhanced security measures are live - Update 20/11 *Edit 21/11/24 Mike your perseverance is admirable....but while you are still trying to spin gold from this 💩 it only annoys us more. Best if you could just be honest. You would win more respect with words like the following. Yes, we admit we could have consulted our user base more effectively on this. We made the change we thought we had to make and yes, on reflection, change management with our user community is not our strong point. We are unlikely to revisit this because we actually don't care that much that we've annoyed you all and ultimately don't think many of you will leave because it's not an easy process and this is not the first time we've screwed you over and you are still here...so...hopefully we'll manage it better next time....but I wouldn't hold your breath. To be honest mate, that paragraph above would earn MYOB far more respect from this user community. Constantly trying to tell us what you have done is good when we all know it isn't just just angers us more and has probably tripled the length of this thread to be honest. MYOB needs some lessons in stakeholder management. Re: Enhanced security measures are live - Update 20/11 *Edit 21/11/24 ....and yes you may have developed a solution that the ATO is happy with but they are one stakeholder. There may be more solutions - which would actually not disruption your user community so much and might still appease the ATO.....it is the complete lack of consideration of the usability of your increasingly unusable software which has everyone annoyed. You are just incredibly lucky that it takes some effort to change. If it was a 5 minute process none of us would be talking to you trying to get MYOB to reconsider - we'd be already gone.
