Pay cycle w/ending 20/08/25, Paid as follows: Thur & Fri at Old 2nd yr rate, Mon, Tues & Wed. paid at 3rd yr rate (which is now Base hourly for this employee on his file). Apprentice Base hourly rate set up on employee file is $27.39 (3rd yr rate) in prep for this pay cycle. On Pay item "Old Pay Rate" is the 2nd yr rate $23.18 - employee added to this pay item in prep for this pay cyle. When entering hours in payroll for this employee: 16 hours was put to item "Old Pay Rate" at $23.18 24 hour put to "Base Hourly". However for some reason the MYOB system increased the pay rate to $30.20 per hour, changing it from $27.39 per hour. This has also happened previously when hours for pay item "Annual Leave Taken - Loading" was entered, the MYOB sytem automatically changed the "Base Hourly Rate". Why? Please fix this bug. Quotes & Invoices Please widen UoM column I recently noticed the Units of Measure being cut off when I print a quote for example: in 'Product & Services' items that use "lineal metres" as the unit of measurement have been set up the the abbreviation "Lin m". Or items that use "1,000" as the UoM have been set up as "1,000" Yet on the quote it only shows up as "Lin" the m has been cut off or "1,00" the end zero has been cut off. Please widen the Unit of Measurement column in both Quotes and Invoices. Thank you in advance. Re: Changing Quotes 13/08/2025 Hi SupportNoteGuy, Adding text in the Description field in a line on the quote is not an acceptable solution. The space is too small for "precise" information to be imparted, and can lead to a simple one page quote blowing out to three pages. Reading through the forum this suggestion has been raised by others over the past couple of years and developers need to address it, and not mark as solved with "You can add text into the Description field in a line on the quote without having to add any category, item or pricing info.". And same goes for 'Changing the order of line items in a quote', I note this has also been requested and suggested by others in the forum. Whilst your voting system on suggestions is great in theory, it's seems to be failing those of us who are typing QUOTES in MYOB daily and need the flexibility to: Change the order of line items in a quote Add a text line item that uses the full width of the page, (not just the small description field) I really hope this message finds the right person that will get these changes done in a timely manner. Re: Payroll YTD verification doesn't match Payroll summary report Thank you for your reply Princess_R, I have compared the Payroll Register report to the Year to Date verification report as per your suggestion. The Payroll Register report "Salary and wages total" is $72,893.70 and is still $50 more than the YTD "Total STP taxable wages" which is $72,843.70. The $50 on the Payroll Register is an Employee Reimbursement (of which the pay item is set to Not Reportable) and this, rightly so, is not on the YTD verification report. All other payroll transactions are correct. How do I adjus the Payroll Register report to match the YTD verification report? Payroll YTD verification doesn't match Payroll summary report I'm in the process of finalising payroll for a sole trader who has changed to PTY LTD structure from 1/02/24. In the sole trader myob file the Payroll YTD verifcation report 'Total salary and wages' $value is $50 less than the 'Payroll summary report' salary and wages' $value. This is due to an employee reimursement of $50 which is set up as "not reportable" for the ATO reporting category. Can I still complete the EOPY? Or do both reports need to be the same $value. Solved
