Display an alternate business address on customer invoice
In MYOB BUSINESS PRO I have created an invoice template with a logo and I want to display the "trading/site" address which is different from the main business address. My ABN is registered to my home address, but I want my shopfront address on the invoice. CHANGING QUOTES Here are just a few previous requests that are falsely marked solved.. the functionality is already available in the invoice feature. And Yes, I have previously put the idea on the "Ideas board", what you fail to understand is that the people who want these changes are actually WORKING in their jobs and not constantly watching to vote on your "Ideas board" And Yes, I am very frustrated!! At the moment, there isn’t a way to insert notes or comments right in the middle of the quote itself, but you can still tweak your templates or add terms and conditions at the bottom of the page. If this is something you’d love to see in future updates, you might want to share your suggestion on our Ideas board. The space is too small for "precise" information to be imparted, and can lead to a simple one page quote blowing out to three pages. Reading through the forum this suggestion has been raised by others over the past couple of years and developers need to address it, and not mark as solved with "You can add text into the Description field in a line on the quote without having to add any category, item or pricing info.". And same goes for 'Changing the order of line items in a quote', I note this has also been requested and suggested by others in the forum. Whilst your voting system on suggestions is great in theory, it's seems to be failing those of us who are typing QUOTES in MYOB daily and need the flexibility to: Change the order of line items in a quote Add a text line item that uses the full width of the page, (not just the small description field) I really hope this message finds the right person that will get these changes done in a timely manner. Background: Apprentice 3rd yr anniversary mid pay cycle. Pay cycle w/ending 20/08/25, Paid as follows: Thur & Fri at Old 2nd yr rate, Mon, Tues & Wed. paid at 3rd yr rate (which is now Base hourly for this employee on his file). Apprentice Base hourly rate set up on employee file is $27.39 (3rd yr rate) in prep for this pay cycle. On Pay item "Old Pay Rate" is the 2nd yr rate $23.18 - employee added to this pay item in prep for this pay cyle. When entering hours in payroll for this employee: 16 hours was put to item "Old Pay Rate" at $23.18 24 hour put to "Base Hourly". However for some reason the MYOB system increased the pay rate to $30.20 per hour, changing it from $27.39 per hour. This has also happened previously when hours for pay item "Annual Leave Taken - Loading" was entered, the MYOB sytem automatically changed the "Base Hourly Rate". Why? I recently noticed the Units of Measure being cut off when I print a quote for example: in 'Product & Services' items that use "lineal metres" as the unit of measurement have been set up the the abbreviation "Lin m". Or items that use "1,000" as the UoM have been set up as "1,000" Yet on the quote it only shows up as "Lin" the m has been cut off or "1,00" the end zero has been cut off. I too would like the option of putting text lines into a quote in MYOB Business.. Please have the developers build this into the software as soon as possible. Also, I would like the text line to run across the width of the page not wrap around in the 'description' size text box as it does currently on the invoice version.
