When the accounts were setup (before my time) Two different Category lists were created - one for the main operation of the business and another labelled DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) for any transactions such as donation and expenses that need to be reported to the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission reporting. The field is live for 100% of transactions. Since i have been here (2 and 1/2 years) I have only really used the category list to run a Category Activity detail report on our main bank account to identify any donations that have been banked into the main operating bank account and that need by law to be transferred across to the DGR Bank account. All of my DGR projects have their own individual DGR job codes, so i can easily run monthly Job profit and loss reports or Job activity reports to determine how each job is progressing. Currently the category list field is impeeding our ability to integrate our merchandise shop through our new Woo Commerce platform and CRM system Salesforce as it is not a field that the Woo Commerce plugin can accommodate - so therefore all of our merchandise orders will fail to integrate directly into MYOB. I am thinking about deactivating the Category list field in my setup. I can just run a transaction report on my donations general ledger account and manually work out which donations were received in the main account and therefore need transferring - last month it was only 11 transations. The additional hands on work required to do this will be considerably less than the time taken to deal with all of the merchandise transactions (more than 1000 individual transations each year) to get them into MYOB from Woo Commerce - Currently all merchandise transactions are keyed in MYOB then individually paid off in MYOB which is very labour intensive. My question is, does anyone see any issues in turning off the Category list? Either for the current financial year or previous years records? Many thanks in advance Eric New Superannuation USI Changes Hi all, We have received notification that Media Super have merged with CBUS super and that we need to update the USI for all Media Super members. The old USI is to be used up until 3rd April and then we need to change to the new USI, however i cant alter the USI in the staffmembers setup and when I go through "Lists" "Superannuation Fund Lists" the superfund record defaults to the old SPIN/USI. Does anyone have any ideas as to how i can make the change? Will MYOB create a new media Super superfund with the new USI details? Eric Re: Super Payments HI Tracey, Yes i thought that too, but the business owner xxxxxx does not have a login for MYOB and does not use the program. The only Administrator that i can see on our file has the email address is for my predecessor xxxxx as per the attached screenshot and i am unable to reset her password. Kind regards Eric Re: Super Payments HI Tracey, The person who is showing as Administrator in our setup folder is my predecessor who was using a different email address than me and no-one else on the file shows as having Administrator priviliedges. I tried to logon to MYOB using her email address using the forgot password option (as her email address is now redirectied to mine) but no code came through Can this be changed to me online and if not, is there a form that i can download to get the business owners to authorise me to be the new Administrator. Kind regards Eric Re: Super Payments HI Tracey, I am already setup as a Pay Super Administrator - is this not sufficient to review and accept the new product disclosure statement? Kind regards Eric Super Payments Hi all, I am trying to review and accept the new product disclosure statement and direct debit agreement for the new Super changes but everytime i do i get an error screen Whoops, we've hit a snag! You need to be an AccountRight or MYOB Business online administrator, or the MYOB account owner, to agree to the new Terms and Conditions for MYOB Pay Super. Contact one of your online administrators or the MYOB account owner, and they’llset you up. I am the person that processes the monthly superannuation payment already so i cant figure out what is wrong or why iyts saying i need to be setup. Can anyone please advise???
