We use AccountRight Plus, and have been storing our supplier invoices and also Spend Money transactions in the InTray and then attaching them to the transaction in MYOB. We have been reading that if we take the file off-line, which would save us paying a monthly fee after we close the business, that we will no longer have access to our supplier invoices etc. How do we store these documents or do we have access to them in some way, in the case of an audit if that happens within the next five years? I have read that things like Woolworths gift cards etc., are an option. Is this something that we need to add in the benefits listed, as I can't see all the benefits that are quoted. Re: Reinstating an employee We have an employee who worked for us for a few months earlier this year, and didn't want to claim the tax-free threshold at that stage. She left in March and we terminated her with ATO through STP. She is commencing employment with us again next week, but this time wants to claim the tax-free threshold with us. Can I simply change it in her Card File in MYOB, and will the ATO be notified through STP? Young Employee If we have a young employee (13 years old) who will be doing some work over her school holidays, does she have to get a tax file number? If she doesn't how do I do a workaround? We are now on STP2, and just want to know how I can go about this without breaking any rules? Any help would be appreciated. Bank Balance User Access I have been chasing a solution to this problem for a while now, and have searched through the forum and tried different solutions, but I just can't get it. I would think my problem is a problem that a lot of users experience. I have read about User Access, and Roles, etc. How do I hide the bank balances from an employee using AccountRight? For example, if I want them to process a Bank Deposit through MYOB the bank balance shows at the top of the screen, and there are multiple other windows that the same things happen with. Is there a successful solution that has been tried to be able to hide bank balances from employees? Re: Purchases In Tray - can't view while entering details since 2020 upgrade If you make the MYOB window smaller to the size of a Purchase Order/Bill, you should be able to position the PDF of the supplier's invoice and your MYOB order/bill side-by-side. Not real convenient, but it is better than trying to remember what you are trying to be checking when clicking from one to the other. Are you using Remote Desktop on a Mac to access your MYOB file on a PC server?
