Prior Year Losses Carried Forward on Individual ITR
Hi, Has anyone had a problem where a figure is showing up in prior year losses carried forward on an individual ITR (item L1), that wasn't in the prior year? We have had a few similar occurrences of this in the last few weeks and are trying to work out if it is a software issue or human error. 2022 there were losses, these losses were used in 2023 and now in 2024 losses are appearing, but it isn't the figure that was in the 2022 ITR? Any suggestions would be appreciated.19Views0likes1CommentGuide: Rescheduling Agent Reports for the new year in AE/AO

In the trust distribution section is talks of dollars and cents in whole dollar fields but there are none in the return other than the franking credits and foreign tax credits which have always allowed dollars and cents. I am unable to complete the return, but I am unable to locate the position in the return of the error. Please advise how to fix this?Solved65Views0likes2CommentsForeign Capital Gain in a company
I am trying to enter a capital gain from a property owned overseas into a 2024 company ITR. The ATO guidance says it should be entered at label 7A, 8G & 8R. When I complete label 8G it automatically fills to label 6R, therefore overstating the income. Is there a field that I am missing?32Views0likes2CommentsSTP filing errors AR
Hi Community, An employee has reported that they had their tax return amended. When speaking to the ATO they reported that STP was reported at a higher amount early in the year when the employee lodged their 23-24 (lodged Dec 24) and that the figure was now reported was lower than the original PAYE figure. They have firmly placed the responsibility back on the employer/payroll. My question is how can this discrepancy happens when all PR was filed with ATO via AR STP and none were pending or rejected? We have checked the amount of PAYE the employee paid is correct.18Views0likes1Comment
