Lodging BAS
Hello, I know I am looking far ahead as the next BAS is quite a while off, however as a small business we look to cut costs as much as possible. Therefore for the upcoming quarter we want to Lodge our own BAS as our accountant and bookkeeper are quite expensive when it comes to lodging our BAS. I also think it is a great way for us to learn how to lodge it. My question being is there any Webinars or Videos which go for around 40+ mins to teach businesses owners how to lodge their own BAS through AccountRight. I found one for people using MYOB Practice but I am wanting it for MYOB AccountRightSolvedBAS - submitting BAS early in month
I am wanting to run the monthly December 2024 BAS early which includes deferred tax and a quarterly PAYG Instalment, however, the online BAS will not load any figures. This seems to happen a lot - so is there an opening date that the figures are populated in the MYOB online BAS? thank you Pam AlexanderSolvedBAS/IAS not connecting to ATO
I have been getting the following message when trying to lodge my BAS online for the last 3 days. "We can't get in touch with the ATO right now, so we haven't created any new activity statements for you. This may also affect your ability to edit or lodge forms. Please try again later"Solved844Views0likes1CommentBAS Articles to get your BAS sorted

We owe the ATO and are paying it off every month. The statement I just received has the fuel tax credit as a credit into the account, therefore reducing our overall debt with them. I've started a liablity account called 'payments to the ATO' to keep track of the repayments and interest. My question is...how do I record the fuel tax credit and possibly the pay as you go tax withheld and gst as debits into this account. I appreciate your response. Thank you.Solved2.1KViews0likes3Comments
