cannot upgrade file after installing accountright 2020.2
Hi, i have installing AR 2020.2, i have few files, nothing wrong with the 2 online files. However, when i tried to open offline files but there is error message "unable to upgrade your file" i notice when i tried to open with AR2020.1, it' automatically become AR2020.2.2 theni i tried to remove 2020.2, which i did, the icon AR2020.1 is still changed to ar2020.2 i tired to open the file, it stated the file is 2020.1 version do you want to upgrade, i click yes, but then the error message still come out. please advse. lease help urgently because i really need to do my work. realy appreciate your kind helpSolved935Views0likes4CommentsSTP eofy finalisation and is it a mistake to update to 2020.2 before lodging final pay for June 2020

I'm using MYOB Accountright and wanting to confirm what version I am currently using? I usually check on the Company Data Auditor, but is there another way? The reason I ask is the Company Data Auditor is showing I'm using version 2020.2.23.8701 after I have upgraded this morning, however I believe the upgrade was 2020.2.23.8856. Hi Everyone, We have had a number ofreportsfrom Userswho have upgradedtheir files to the latest version offline and when trying to open the upgraded file they get the following error message: AccountRight has encountered an error and needs to exit The following AccountRight Hotfix tool can be run over the company file. Instructions for running the tool are also included below. Run the AccountRight Hotfix tool: Close AccountRight Download the AccountRight tool Find the tool that you downloaded and double click it When the tool appears, all files found in your AccountRight library will be listed If your file isn't listed, click the Server Edition tab. Still not listed? Click Custom Location and then browse to the folder containing your company files. (Note: You can also drag and drop your company file into this window to update the file) Select the files you need to open and click Update selected files. When allfiles have finished, you can now close the tool. Start AccountRight and open the company that has been updated. When the Confirmation window appears, choose to confirm the companyfile online and click Next When complete, close the Confirmation window. You can now work on this file.
